What to expect

What colours are your emotions?

The workshop offers a safe space to pause, make something of your own and share together. Using colour and paint, participants can capture feelings and experiences that are sometimes hard to put into words. It is not about artistic achievement but about the process, your own interpretation and the chance to express yourself in your own way. It ties in with the questions TAMly explores: emotions, self-discovery, relationships and art as a way of connecting.

What the workshop is for

The aim is to let participants express their emotions through colour and creative work, first on their own and then in relation to others. Reflecting together is an important part of it too. Nobody has to explain what their painting means or share personal experiences unless they want to.

Who it is for

The workshop suits young people and adults who are interested in creativity, emotions, self-discovery or mental health, or who simply want to try a different way of expressing themselves. No art experience is needed. This is not a painting class. Technique, talent and the finished picture are not judged.

About the Muôn Màu project

Muôn Màu, meaning “a thousand colours”, shares the experiences of people from the Czech-Vietnamese community who live with neurodevelopmental or mental health difficulties. Through personal stories, art and education we open up topics that are rarely talked about and help break the stigma around mental health. Come to create, to share, or simply to be.
