The TAMly platform is in test mode. We are fine-tuning the content and features, and every piece of your feedback is precious to us.

TAMly up close

Accessibility

The website should work for as many people as possible.

A TAMly community gathering.

We want everyone to be able to use the TAMly website – with a screen reader, keyboard only, on a phone or with low vision. We follow WCAG 2.1 at level AA (EN 301 549).

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Czech Act No. 99/2019 Coll. on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications does not legally apply to us as an association, but we treat its requirements as a binding guide. This statement is based on a self-assessment and automated tests.

What we do for accessibility

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
  • Pages have a clear structure of headings and regions and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Images have alternative text in three languages.
  • Text colours meet the required contrast.
  • We respect the system’s reduced-motion setting.
  • Players never start on their own.
  • The interactive map’s content is also available as a text list.
  • Every page has its language marked correctly (Czech, Vietnamese, English).

Known limitations

  • The Vietnamese texts are still going through language review.
  • Not every podcast and recording has a full transcript; there is always a detailed summary and chapters.
  • Subtitles on YouTube videos depend on the source recording.
  • We cannot control the YouTube and Spotify players or external registration forms.
  • Older downloadable documents may not be fully accessible.

We keep working on removing these limitations.
